CONSERVATION & EDUCATION
Our mission is to promote, support and educate the public in the application of sound environmental and wildlife management practices.
We seek to acquire by purchase, lease or control such lands and water as is necessary to consummate the aims and interests of the membership, foster a cooperative and positive relationship with State and Federal Environmental and Fish & Game regulatory agencies, with the common purpose of abiding by and enforcing State and Federal Laws dedicated to the protection, conservation, propagation, management and regulated harvesting of fish and game and other forms of wildlife within the State of Connecticut.
We look to establish and maintain a feeling of mutual respect, cordial relations and good will between farmers or other property owners and members by respecting the wishes of these landowners and in particular by preventing abuses to the land and water which the membership may be privileged to practice their conservation and wildlife management skills.
